Hello, my name is Chrystal Miller! I love working with students, especially when teaching music! I teach violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, vocal, alto saxophone, and music technology. I am proficient with many instruments because music has always been a passion of mine. At the age of sixteen, I started college, majoring in music. Afterward, I graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, integrating music and psychology. This education allows me to pursue my dream of advancing music therapy. I studied under the Grammy-nominee Chuck Cushinery and Shanka Cicani, who performed for Princess Diana's brother. I also compose. These compositions are throughout various short films. I am a music composition finalist at several small film festivals! I founded the Military Youth Orchestra and began conducting orchestras at nineteen, becoming one of Nevada's youngest conductors. My students are accepted into chamber orchestras and music academies, performed in front of hundreds of people and won auditions for paid gigs. I strive to help students become the best musician they can be and find motivation through my students' success.
